Red starfish are carnivorous, feeding primarily on shellfish, worms, and small invertbrates, digesting prey by digging out their stomachs. They have a strong regenerative capacity and able to regrow damaged or lost arms. Red starfish play an important role in Marine ecosystems, both as predators and as food source for other Marine life.

Red starfish is aspecies of sea star widely distributed along the coast of the North Atlantic Ocean, commonly occurring from the intertidal zone to shallow waters. The body is usually has five arms covered with small spines.

The Red Star Fish Habitat

Red starfish lives in the tropical desert climate biome, specifically in countries like Galapagos Islands and parts of the Indian Ocean in the Indian Ocean. Red starfish don't sleep because they don't have brains. In the Indian Ocean, there are also Indo-Pacific hump-back dolphin, clownfish, octopus, celsius.

In this temperature range for red starfish can survive and climate of Red starfish in the future include global warming and sea level rise. The Red starfish is located near the Tropic of Capricorn. It is controlled by the subtropical high pressure zone and the trade wind zone all year round, and the air flow is subsiding, resulting in high temperatures and climate drought all year round.

Food Chain

Red starfish is a secondary consumer, which means secondary consumers. Red starfish mainly feed on benthic invertebrates. Red starfish is a carnivore. Red starfish mainly hunts in the following ways: first approach slowly and use the foot to catch the prey, and then wrap the prey and secrete digestive enzymes. The red starfish is a hunter. Sometimes, because of water quality problems, it will be difficult for red starfish to swallow their food.

Conclusion

The first three body  Daragraphs describe the food chain of the Red starfish, its habitat, and its appearance and adaptations. Red starfish have important ecological value in the Marine tlosystem. Red starfish play an important role in Marine ecosystems, although in some cases the proliferation of Red starfish can lead to the destruction of coral communities and pose a threat to mussel farming. The aquarium or ecological exhibition can simulate the natural habitat of Red starfish to show their behavior patterns and biological characteristics to the public. In conjunction with coral reef protection projects, ecotourism routes can be developed to enhance public awareness of the ecological value of the Red starfish.
